Blog Post Before Bed

Don't expect any pictures from this one because I'm far too tired to bother cutting/pasting/saving/uploading/et cetera.

In RL news, I've returned to work! My week off is officially over and I'm experiencing mixed feelings. I'm happy because this means moar monies, yet it also means putting up with... my boss...

Speaking of my boss, it's been two weeks since I've been paid. I should have received my pay check for my work two weeks prior. I understand that it was the fourth and people like to take a vacation, but when you run a business, paychecks are kind of a priority. It's not like he has to do anything! He uses Quicken (or a similar program) to do all the calculations for him.... Is it really that hard? As soon as I have the chance, I'm leaving this awful place...

On a happier note, my new cell phone finally arrived. And I LURVES it. I've been dying for a phone with a QWERTY keypad for messaging, but the fact that this has a touchscreen makes it that much better. I like to call it the iPhone -1.

In the WORLD OF TEH VIDYA, I received an email from Nintendo today. For those that don't know, NoA finally created a North American Club Nintendo (Japan and Europe have had one for quite some time now) last fall. For those of you out of the loop, Club Nintendo is a customer rewards program. Since I'm a Nintendo Fanboy, I hastily registered as soon as the site launched. Basically, for Club Nintendo, you buy a Nintendo product and register it online for Coins, the Club Nintendo currency. These coins are redeemed for lots of neat things such as Wii Remote holders, DS Game/Styli holders, DS game racks, and a DS game (Game & Watch Collection) that is exclusive to Club Nintendo). I've had my eye on the Mario themed Hanafuda cards (For those of you that don't know, Nintendo was founded as a card game company and Hanafuda was their key product).

Anyway, to the point. I attained "Gold Status" easily because I was able to redeem some of the games I registered long before Club Nintendo opened. Basically, after you hit certain milestones for the Club Nintendo Year (I believe it's June-May every year), you receive a free prize for becoming an "Elite Status" member for that Club Nintendo Year. Platinum members get to choose between a special version of Punch Out!! in which your sole opponent is Doc Louis (And is downloaded via the Wii Shop Channel) or a real life replica of Mario's hat. Gold members get a Nintendo themed desk calender. So, I guess that's pretty cool. Free stuff is usually a good thing.

In the world of Vana'diel, I attained level 65! My Polearm skill is a little low (215 when it should be 227), but my polearm merits help out a ton. Regardless, I want to cap it out before I seek for party again. Another thing worth noting is that I have access to Wheeling Thrust now. I can't wait to take DRG up to sky so I can play with it again the sky gods.

I'm looking at you, Suzaku!
